MEP Engineer (Residential & Commercial)
Job Description:
Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Site Engineers to oversee MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works for Residential and Commercial Projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing electrical, mechanical (HVAC, lifts), structural fabrications, and other associated works at the site, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all MEP activities at the construction site for Residential and Commercial projects.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, standards,proper finishings and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth execution of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, lifts, and structural fabrication works.
- Monitor daily progress and prepare reports on site activities.
- Inspect and verify the quality of works, materials, and equipment installed.
- Resolve technical and site problems promptly.
- Maintain documentation related to site activities, inspections, and progress.
- Assist in planning and scheduling of work activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Provide technical guidance and support to site team and subcontractors.

Taking accountability for all kind of Materials / Consumables

Verification of Contract Bills and Certifications

Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering / B.Tech in Electrical preferably , related disciplines like Mechanical .
- 8 to 15 years of hands-on experience in managing MEP projects, specifically in residential and commercial sectors.

Strong knowledge of Complete Electrical systems from HT to LT Works ,Power Distribution , HVAC, Fire Fighting , ELV Works , Lifts, Structural Fabrications, and other MEP installations.

Project experience with Individual Premium Villa Projects / Premium Apartments is highly preferable
- Proven experience in project coordination, site management, and quality control.
- Good understanding of safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Preferred Skills:
- Relevant certifications in project management or safety.
- Experience working with reputed construction or MEP contracting firms.
- Proficiency in MS Project /3D MAX /BIM Software /MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
